Art - Dave Birdsall's, The Introspectre
Title and artwork for 'album cover' and 'track artwork' inspired by Dave Birdsall's personality, and designed by ed-infinitum.
The artwork above was designed whilst I was in suspended animation, courtesy of Dave Birdsall's Introspective orchestral pieces-cum-'magic carpet ride', entitled, 'Odysseus' and 'ed-infinitum'. (tracks may also be found in the audio section of this site.)
The artwork comprises music notation designed in an 'arabic' script style.
Album cover and title awaits Dave's approving nod.
The above artwork and the inspiration that it took to create it would not have been if Dave was not.

Dear Ed,
It is beautiful and says and 'sees' so much. How could I ever possibly say thank you!
Ineffable.
I have to saythat for all who read this, untill I met Ed a couple of months ago I was lost. I did not have a direction in which to go and had become stagnant.
I read an article that Ed had posted. I was so inspired and provoked to think again that the article and the writer has inspired me to go beyond what I thought was possible, probable and even could be achievable. Every so often you meet a soul that takes your hand and walks with you and assists in your growth. I have met and am humbly humbled by this soul.
My deepest regards.
David Birdsall
This is most definitely no exhibition of false modesty Dave, but it is you I have to thank for providing me with the inspiration to create the above. In other words, you gave me the inspiration for transcription into the above. It was a pleasure indeed! It is not often that another inspires me with immediate images or ideas in my mind. You are one of the extremely rare few i have met in my life. The others are all dead - philosophers, artists, musicians, of the past.
Without such inspiration, any 'transcriber' soon loses the ability to do so in any meaningful sense. You have filled my palette so to speak. I suppose the idea of 'the transcriber' basically throws the idea of Intellectual Property into the furthermost point of the proverbial bin. We have symbiotically aided each other in what is just the beginning of our development. I really look forward to this journey!
For that, Dave, I thank YOU.

Dear Dave,
I was so moved by your humility and appreciation of this great soul, which I have had the opportunity to learn from, for nearly a decade. Unfortunately, unlike you, I did not know how to appreciate his intelligence and kindness until recent months.
Through you, I have learned what I ought to have learned from him (among others) ten years ago - Humility.
Thank you Dave !

Hello V,
Is that ok to say V?
Yes I agree, humility is a word with such a power. I too have realised throught the last couple of months in getting to know Ed that I can think again, see lots of things more clearly and in this process I have felt the beauty of humility that this kind soul has helped me to grow.
Being humble is not a weakness as so many poeple I think believe. I have to say though, that I dont know when I am being humble really. It is a few other people of which Ed has been the major influence in helping me to 'see' things differently. My admiration for this gentlemen is immense and I am so happy to have got know him and learn from him too.
Humility is held within your words V, I can see and hear that. May we always be humble and 'open' to new and exciting developments in our lives especially when Ed reveals a new article. Maybe more people will read more of Ed's articles and then they could have the same impact as on me.
Regards
Daveb
